Are You A Stampede Member?
The Stampeders are dedicated to increasing our membership. As a volunteer organization we are known for our membership - the people who make it happen each and every year. The Stamepders exist because volunteers decide to dedicate themselves to preserving our western heritage and tradition.
The Stampeders have members who have been with us for decades, and some who are just considering joining. Whatever your situation, we encourage you to place or renew your membership with us.
We sincerely hope you will be interested in what we’re doing to make our organization bigger and better each year. It takes all of us to maintain that which the Stampede founders created sixty-four years ago.
We also have open meetings each month, and you are encouraged to attend. Our meetings are the first Tuesday of each month at 6pm at the Stampede Hall in Elgin.
So, What Do Your Dues Do?
Your dues help us pay our utilities so that we can continue to donate the use of our facilities for various community and school activities, such as funerals, fund raisers and ceremonies for the school, local 4-H chapter activities, the Elgin Chamber Banquet and many other functions.
Your dues also allow us to maintain our donation fund, where we donate to local youth who are raising money for camps and trips throughout the year.
Finally, and maybe most importantly, your dues help us to keep the Elgin Stampede and our heritage of rodeo alive.
